Michele Tamse, MD, FAAP

         Michele Tamse, MD is a general pediatrician who graduated from Des Moines University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006 and completed her residency at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, Las Vegas in 2009.

She recently joins Parma Pediatrics, Inc. from Fresno, California, where she practiced at the Charlie Mitchell Children’s Clinic, a clinic that specializes in the care of children with complex medical conditions, such as cerebral palsy, ventilator-dependence and gastrostomy feeds. After residency, she worked at the Madigan Army Medical Center pediatric urgent care in Tacoma, Washington.

Her interests include providing children and families with a medical home, incorporating healthy diet and exercise choices, Internet safety, sleep hygiene and cultural awareness. She enjoys baking, traveling, bicycling and hiking. Dr. Tamse is also able to speak some Spanish and looks forward to using her skills to help care for our Spanish-speaking patients.
